The liquid composition is used for an image recording method, which comprises a step of supplying ink including color material in a melting state or a dispersing state to the recording medium, and a step of providing the liquid composition for unstabilizing the dissolving state or the dispersing state of the color material in the ink by the contact with the ink to the recording medium.
