Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid control valve for actualizing smooth operation of a valve element by reliably discharging foreign matters entering into a flow path to the downstream side.SOLUTION: A columnar valve element 14 is rotatably provided inside a body 12 as part of the liquid control valve. The valve element 14 is formed with a valve hole 52 penetrating therethrough in a direction perpendicular to the axis line. In the outer peripheral face thereof, a capture groove 58 is formed between a site to face an introduction flow path 34 at the time of closing the valve and a first opening 54 to be on the inlet side of the valve hole 52. The capture groove 58 has a plurality of first-fifth vertical groove parts 60a-60e along the axial direction and first-fourth side groove parts 62a-62d along the peripheral direction alternately connected to each other. The lower end of the fifth vertical groove part 60e to be nearest to the side of the first opening 54 is connected to the first opening 54. Foreign matters S, S' flowing in from the introduction flow path 34 of the body 12 is guided along the capture groove 58 from the first opening 54 to the valve hole 52 and discharged to the downstream side together with liquid passing through the valve hole 52 at the time of opening the valve.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
