Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal aligning agent to provide a liquid crystal alignment film having high voltage holding characteristics and little accumulated charges.
SOLUTION: The liquid crystal aligning agent contains at least one kind of polymer selected from polyamide acids or polyimide prepared by dehydrating and closing a ring of polyamide acids which are produced by allowing a group of tetracarboxylic acid dianhydrides containing at least ≥1mol% of a tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride having a skeleton expressed by formula (1) to react with a group of diamine compounds.
