Abstract:
To provide a liquid crystal composition that does not require use of a light diffusion plate when exposed to laser irradiation or UV irradiation to polymerize a polymerizable liquid crystal compound in the process of producing a polymer dispersion type liquid crystal which reversibly changes between a light-transmitting state at a temperature lower than a nematic-isotropic phase transition temperature and a light-scattering state at a temperature over the nematic-isotropic phase transition temperature.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal composition comprises a liquid crystal compound and a polymerizable liquid crystal compound having a cyanophenyl group.SELECTED DRAWING: None
