Abstract:
To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of writing and reading data.
This liquid crystal display device is comprised of a writing control unit 5 for writing data in a liquid crystal panel 3, a reading control unit 6 for reading data from liquid crystal panel 3, a LCD controller 4 which supplies the writing data to be inputted to the writing control unit 5 and outputs the reading data of the reading control unit 6, a parity generation means 15 for generating a parity bit from the written data supplied by this LCD controller 4, and a parity check means 16 for checking the parity bit of the data read by the reading control unit 6.
