In a liquid crystal display device 1 comprising a glass substrate 19, with a common electrode 20 formed, so as to be placed opposite to the seal pattern 9 side of a substrate 2 which is provided with a picture display part 8, the sealing pattern 9 applied thereto surrounding the picture display part 8 and common electrode wiring 10a, 10b formed outside the sealing pattern 9, and a liquid crystal 23 injected into a gap produced in sticking the substrates 2, 19 to each other via the seal pattern 9, the sealing pattern 9 is conductive, is applied being overlapped with each one tip respectively of the common electrode wiring 10a, 10b and sticks and substrate 2 and the glass substrate 19 together. Also the common electrode 20 and the common electrode wiring 10a, 10b are connected electrically.
