Abstract:
To improve reliability of a liquid crystal display device by preventing entering of moisture into a cavity of a package housing a liquid crystal panel.
As a sealant for adhering front glass 713 of a package main body 707, the package has a first sealant 705 which is formed so as to partly have a discontinuous part communicating with outer atmosphere at the time of temporary curing and a second sealant 705a sealing the discontinuous part after temporary curing and/or an adhesive 717 is applied to an inner periphery of a burried part of a heat radiating plate 711 which is installed by burrying a periphery thereof in the rear surface side of the package main body 707 to form an airtight sealing.
