Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide technique for moisture-proofing a liq. crystal display device, especially technique for sealing a liq. crystal by forming a hermetically sealed structure with hard cases. CONSTITUTION:An outer case 13 and an inner case 14 are put around a liq. crystal display board 12 so as to enclose the display board 12 and potting is carried out with urethane resin. Since it is not required to coat the display board 12 with a casting agent, materials used can be reduced. Since equipment such as a casting machine is not necessary like the conventional work, work efficiency can be increased.
