Title:
LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE WITH BUILT-IN TOUCH SENSING FUNCTION AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2020144200
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide a liquid crystal display device with a built-in touch sensing function capable of preventing generation of electrostatic unevenness and maintaining stable touch sensor sensitivity even when the device is exposed to a moisture heat environment.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device 101 includes a liquid crystal layer 125 containing liquid crystal molecules, a touch sensor unit 130, and first and second polarizing films 111, 151 respectively disposed on either side of the liquid crystal layer. The first polarizing film is disposed on a viewing side of the liquid crystal layer as well as on the viewing side of the touch sensor unit. The conductive layer 113 is disposed on the viewing side of the touch sensor unit. The conductive layer shows a conductivity change ratio FHT in a moisture heat environment, represented by a formula (1): FHT=ΔC(B)/ΔC(A), of 2 or less. In the formula (1), ΔC(B) represents a difference between a touch panel current value and a touch panel base current value after a moisture heat test, and ΔC(A) represents a difference between a touch panel current value and a touch panel base current value prior to the moisture heat test.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
