Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel having a reliable and inexpensive image sensor by constituting a sensor part to have a space sealed with a seal part and a counter substrate.
SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display part 110 consisting of an active matrix circuit, a peripheral drive circuit 111 for driving the active matrix circuit and a sensor part 120 are arranged on a same substrate. Then, the sensor part 120 is constituted to have a space sealed by a seal part 104 and a counter substrate. By such a structure, the sealed space is interrupted perfectly from the air by the substrate and the seal part 104. As individual panel constitution, a display area and a peripheral drive circuit area are arranged so as to be surrounded by the seal part 103. Further, the sensor part 120 is arranged so as to be surrounded by time seal part 104. Then, the seal parts 103 of the respective panels are provided with seal opening parts 107 on their one parts, and liquid crystal material are injected into the inside of the seal part 103 from there.
