Abstract:
To prevent a sealant from being released by improving the adhesive power of the sealant.
The liquid crystal display device is equipped with a pair of transparent substrates placed opposite to each other through a liquid crystal and the sealant, which sticks one transparent substrate to the other transparent substrate and encloses the liquid crystal. The surface of the transparent substrate on the side stuck to the sealant is roughened at least on a part of the sticking part of the sealant.
