The liquid crystal display device comprises: a plurality of scanning signal lines GL; a plurality of video signal lines DL; a plurality of video signal input terminals DT fewer than the number of the video signal lines; and switch circuits 101 which are interposed between the video signal input terminals and video signal lines, wherein the switch circuits have a plurality of switch elements Tr2 and a plurality of switching lines 1, 2, 3 of performing the switching of on/off of the switch element, the plurality of switch elements Tr2 connected with one of the video signal input terminals are respectively connected to different switching lines, a plurality of video signal lines connected with each of the switch element connected to one switching line are constituted such that the number of set of other video signal lines arranged between adjacent two video signal lines in the plurality of video signal lines is two or more.
