To provide a liquid crystal display device clarifying connection relations between common electrodes as the whole panel.
A liquid crystal display device includes a plurality of pixels each including two sub-pixels of a first sub-pixel and a second sub-pixel, and includes a first common electrode and a second common electrode, which are respectively provided each of the first sub-pixel and the second sub-pixel correspondingly. The common electrodes in the first sub-pixels in odd-numbered lines and the common electrodes in the second sub-pixels in even-numbered lines are made as first common electrode groups while the common electrodes in the first sub-pixels in the even-numbered lines and the common electrodes in the second sub-pixels in the odd-numbered lines are made as second common electrode groups. The first common electrode groups are electrically connected to each other and the second common electrode groups are electrically connected to each other.
