Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which has high luminance regardless of a thin display device.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device including, at least, a reflector, a backlight, a polarization reflector, a backlight-side polarizer, a liquid crystal cell and a visible-side polarizer, is provided with a high retardation film arranged between a reflective layer of the reflector and the polarization reflector and having a retardation value of 3000 to 150000 nm.
