PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device that can suppress degradation of display qualities.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes: a first substrate including a first pixel electrode having a first strip electrode, a second pixel electrode having a second strip electrode and adjoining in a first direction to the first pixel electrode, and a third pixel electrode having a third strip electrode and adjoining in the first direction to the second pixel electrode; a second substrate including a first color filter opposing to the first pixel electrode, a second color filter opposing to the second pixel electrode and having a color different from that of the first color filter, and a third color filter opposing to the third pixel electrode and having a color different from those of the first and second color filters; and a liquid crystal layer held between the first substrate and the second substrate. A first gap between the first pixel electrode and the second pixel electrode along the first direction is narrower than a second gap between the second pixel electrode and the third pixel electrode along the first direction.
