PURPOSE: To provide a compact and light liquid crystal display device by making either a voltage for driving a common side electrode or a voltage for driving a signal side electrode common for a plurality of liquid crystal display elements regarding a liquid crystal display device for driving a plurality of liquid crystal display elements.
CONSTITUTION: When a common side voltage is made common, an adjusting circuit for correcting a difference in luminance among liquid crystal display elements is provided on a signal side power source circuit 16a and when a signal side voltage is made common, an adjusting circuit for correcting a difference in luminance among the liquid crystal display elements is provided on a common side power source circuit 15. A difference in luminance among the liquid crystal display elements is corrected by means of adjusting not largely shifting from the range of an optimal bias ratio, thus the power source circuit is made compact without any deterioration of an image characteristic and a compact and light display device is provided.
