Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which can suppress the reduction of display quality even when a use environment is rapidly changed. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display panel 10 is arranged through spacers 631 and 632 into a panel housing part 630 of a resin frame 600 along with its peripheral area. Then, the gap between the liquid crystal display panel 10 and the panel housing part 630 are sealed by a hardening agent 650 and between a display area 102 of the liquid crystal panel 10 and the resin frame 600, a sealing space 800 sealing gases to achieve a dew point at a temperature lower than 0 deg.C under ordinary pressure is formed. A planar light source part 500 for illuminating this liquid crystal panel 10 from the back is arranged inside the sealing space 800.
