Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the liquid crystal display element which is superior in shock resistance by devising the shape of both ends of the electrode lead-out part of the liquid crystal display element, and to obtain manufacture matching it.
CONSTITUTION: At least one substrate is provided on a substrate composed of a couple of flexible films extended outward from the outer periphery of a display area, and the electrode lead-out part 12 which operates liquid crystal is composed of an intermediate part 13 which has an external end surface almost parallel to the outer peripheral side of the display area 11 and notched parts 14 and 15 at both the end having external end slanting surfaces 14a and 15a which are positioned more and more on the side of the display area 11 as they are farther and farther away from the intermediate part 13. The external end slanting surfaces 14a and 15a of the notched parts are formed along a specific straight line or curved line and the external end slanting surfaces of the adjacent notched parts can be formed at the same time along the same straight line or curved line.
