Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate sagging and to improve screen printability as well as to improve the linearity of sealing patterns after sticking by using a sealant incorporated with fine particles consisting of a specific metal oxide. CONSTITUTION:This element is the liquid crystal display element constituted by consisting the element of at least a pair of flexible plastic film substrates, sealing the circumference thereof with a 1st sealant and sealing a liquid crystal into the inside. This 1st sealant contains respectively at least one kind of the fine particles consisting of a flexible epoxy resin, hardener and metal oxide having >=120g/l apparent sp. gr. and <=1mum particle size and the fine particles consisting of the metal oxide having >=200m<2>/g surface area of the particles and <=0.1mum particle size. The screen printability and the linearity of the sealing patterns after sticking are improved in this way. The sagging of the sealant is prevented in the sealing port part.
