Abstract:
To provide a liquid crystal display and its manufacturing method by which a lightweight and thin display can be obtained and the manufacturing process can be simplified.
The liquid crystal display is equipped with: a liquid crystal panel produced by laminating first and second substrates each having a display region and a non-display area, with a liquid crystal interposed therebetween; and a thermally conductive layer (163) formed on one substrate (242) of the first and second substrates so as to prevent the liquid crystal from being cooled.
