Abstract:
To provide a liquid crystal dropping device and a liquid crystal dropping method which directly drop a liquid crystal on a glass substrate of a large area containing at least one liquid crystal panel.
The liquid crystal dropping device comprises: a container 122 filled with liquid crystals; a delivery pump 140 which sucks the liquid crystals filled in the container 122 and discharges them; a nozzle 150 which drops the liquid crystals discharged from the delivery pump 140 onto the substrate; and a control part 200 which calculates an amount of liquid crystals to be dropped on the basis of the height of a spacer formed on the substrate and drops the liquid crystals of calculated amount on the substrate by controlling the delivery pump 140.
