Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal panel support by which miniaturizing of a device can its weight reduction are possible with excellent impact resistance without adverse influence to display quality.
SOLUTION: This structure is the support of a liquid crystal panel 28 to secure it inside of a transparent member 18 to be arranged on the surface of the housing 14 of a portable telephone set 10 and which is viewed through the transparent member 18. The liquid crystal display panel 28 is supported to the transparent member 18 with transparent elastic resin 22 to be adhered to the inner surface side of the member 18. Moreover, the liquid crystal panel 28 is in contact with only the transparent elastic resin 22 except wiring parts to be connected to the panel in a state in which they almost do not exert forces on the panel 28. Moreover, the transparent elastic resin 22 is closely adhered to the whole surface of the display surface of the panel 28 and the transparent member 18.
