To provide a liquid crystal plate carrying container that is accommodative to housing liquid crystal plates in various sizes stably without allowing the plates to bend and is excellent in efficiency of saving space because of its availability of being piled up in tiers while preventing the liquid crystal plates themselves or flexible printed boards and electronic parts to be mounted thereon from being damaged.
Columnlike support stands 4 for bearing a liquid crystal plate 3 flatwise and stopper members 5 nearing the peripheral edge of the liquid crystal plate for positioning the liquid crystal plate 3 are provided at a plurality of positions at one side of a synthetic resin board body 2. Support stand engaging parts 72 and stopper engaging parts 92 for detachably engaging the support stands 4 and the stopper members 5 are provided at a plurality of positions at the synthetic resin board body 2 in conformity to the sizes of the liquid crystal plates to be mounted. A surrounding wall 2b and an engaging step 2c in the height higher than the support stand engaging part 72 and the stopper engaging part 92 are provided circumferentially at the outer circumference of the synthetic resin board body 2.
