Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal polyester resin composition which can give a molding markedly reduced in the formation of corrosive gases, has mechanical strengths and heat resistance inherent in a liquid crystal polyester resin and is desirable for electrical and electronic components.
SOLUTION: This liquid crystal polyester resin composition is prepared by adding 0.1-50 pts.wt. at least one compound selected from among an oxide, a peroxide, a compound oxide and a hydroxide of calcium, sodium, barium or zinc to 100 pts.wt. liquid crystal polyester.
