To provide a liquid crystalline resin composition which exhibits excellent properties in both of measurement and mold release in precise injection molding, has low gas characteristics, and gives a low-blister molded product most suitable for a narrow-pitch connector and the like, and a method for producing it.

The liquid crystalline resin composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. of liquid crystalline polyester, (B) 0.1-0.5 pts.wt. of fatty acid ester of pentaerythritol, (C) 30-100 pts.wt. of a filler, and (D) 0.01-0.05 pts.wt. of metallic salt of a fatty acid.
