Abstract:
To provide a liquid curable resin composition having good storage stability of a resin liquid and preferable hardness (Young's modulus) as a secondary material.
The liquid curable resin composition for a secondary material of an optical fiber contains: (A1) a urethane (meth)acrylate having a structure expressed by formula (1):H-I-POL1-I-H [wherein H each independently represents a hydroxyl group-containing (meth)acrylate, I represents polyisocyanate, and POL1represents an aliphatic polyether polyol having a number-average molecular weight of 500 to 4,000]; (A2) a urethane (meth)acrylate expressed by formula (2):H-I-H [wherein two H are the same hydroxyl group-containing (meth)acrylates and I represents polyisocyanate]; (A3) a urethane (meth)acrylate expressed by formula (3):H1-I-H2[wherein H1and H2are hydroxyl group-containing (meth)acrylates different from each other and I represents polyisocyanate]; (B) an alkyl (meth)acrylate expressed by formula (5):CH2=C(R1)COO-(CH2)n-CH(CH3)2(wherein R1represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group and n represents an integer of 4 to 8); and (C) a polymerization initiator.
