Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid detergent composition which has an appropriate viscosity even when it contains a high concentration surface active agent, raises its viscosity higher than the viscosity of the stock solution when diluted with water, and does not cause a quick reduction of the viscosity even when further diluted with water so as to render the viscosity not higher than the viscosity of the stock solution.
SOLUTION: In the liquid detergent composition comprising at least an anionic surface active agent and a nonionic surface active agent, 20-50 wt.% sum of the surface active agents being neutral, an alkali metal chloride is added in an amount for thickening the viscosity to a viscosity of not lower than the viscosity of the stock solution having a flowability of 100-320 mPas when diluted with water to the liquid detergent composition to form a liquid detergent composition. The surface active agents may contain an ampholytic surface active agent in addition to the anionic surface active agent and the nonionic surface active agent.
