Abstract:
To suppress glossiness unevenness of an image.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device includes a head unit for discharging a liquid to a recording medium from a plurality of nozzles arrayed in a sub-scanning direction, a carriage for fixing an irradiation part for irradiating the liquid with light to the head unit, a first driving part for relatively moving the carriage and the recording medium in the sub-scanning direction, a second driving part for relatively moving the carriage and the recording medium in a main-scanning direction crossing the sub-scanning direction, and a control part for controlling the head unit, and the first and second driving parts so as to record an image onto the recording medium on the basis of predetermined mask data, in which the control part performs control on the basis of the mask data whose printing ratio indicating a ratio of attaching the liquid per unit area of the recording medium changes in the sub-scanning direction at two cycles or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
