Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge device that can prevent generation of stripes due to discharge failure of a nozzle even if the discharge failure occurs in an overlapping range of two head units.SOLUTION: A printer comprises an inkjet head 4 comprising two head units 11 and a control portion which sets boundary parts 16, boundary regions which are discharged from the two head units 11 respectively, at parts in an overlapping range A where the two head units 11 overlap with each other. The control portion changes ranges of the boundary parts 16 to ranges including regions different from the regions which are included in the boundary parts 16 before the ranges are changed, in the overlapping range A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
