Abstract:
To provide a liquid discharge device that can improve printing quality.SOLUTION: An AC electric field generating part has a first electrode and a second electrode arranged adjacent to each other, a high-frequency voltage generating part that generates high-frequency voltages to the first electrode and the second electrode, and a conductor that electrically connects the first electrode and the second electrode to the high-frequency voltage generating part. A carriage on which a liquid discharge head is mounted reciprocates. The first electrode and the second electrode are mounted on the carriage so as to face a support part. The liquid discharge head and a surface facing the first electrode and the second electrode of the support part are constituted of insulators.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
