Abstract:
To suppress an increase in viscosity of a liquid.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge head comprises a plurality of discharge ports 2 that discharge a liquid, two liquid supply flow paths 51 and 52 that supply the liquid, and a plurality of branch flow paths 16 each branching from either one of the liquid supply flow paths 51 and 52 and communicating with any one of the discharge ports 2, in which the plurality of discharge ports 2 form first and second discharge port rows 22 and 23 extending parallel to each other, each of the first and second discharge port rows 22 and 23 includes an overlapping portion 3 where the discharge ports 2 overlap each other and a non-overlapping portion 4 where the discharge ports 2 do not overlap each other as viewed in a direction perpendicular to the first and second discharge port rows 22 and 23, the plurality of branch flow paths 16 include first branch flow paths 14 respectively communicating with the discharge ports 2 positioned in the overlapping portion 3 and second branch flow paths 15 respectively communicating with the discharge ports 2 positioned in the non-overlapping portion 4, and a circulation flow rate of a liquid that circulates between the first branch flow paths 14 and the liquid supply flow paths 51 and 52 is larger than a circulation flow rate of a liquid that circulates between the second branch flow paths 15 and the liquid supply flow paths 51 and 52.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
