Title:
LIQUID DISCHARGE HEAD AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2009096133
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To solve the problem that ink temperature increases due to the temperature increase of a piezoelectric element and stable ink droplet discharge characteristics cannot be obtained.

A liquid discharge head comprises a diaphragm 3 having a diaphragm part 38 forming the wall surface of a fluid chamber 6 with which a nozzle 5 for discharging droplets communicates, and a drive piezoelectric element pillar 12a of a piezoelectric element 12 joined with an island form projection 38 of the diaphragm 3 with an adhesive 27. The adhesive 27 contains particles 28 composed of a material having a heat conductivity lower than that of a main adhesive component of the adhesive 27, so that the particles 28 composed of a material having a heat conductivity lower than that of the adhesives 27 intervene between the projection 38 of the diaphragm 3 and the joining part of the piezoelectric element pillar 12a.
