An actuator board 1, a channel forming member 2, and a nozzle plate 3 are laminated, a channel 5 with which nozzles 4 discharging droplets communicate is formed, a thermoelectric thermal transducer 6 is provided in the actuator board 1 in opposition to the nozzles 4, and an air ventilation channel 8, one of which is opened to air between nozzle rows 4A of the nozzle face 3a of the nozzle plate 3 and the other is opened to air at the bottom 1a of the actuator board 1 on the side opposite to the side other than the nozzle face, namely the nozzle face 3a, connecting the nozzle face 3a side with the side 1a other than the nozzle face through the interior of the head is formed.
