Abstract:
To provide a liquid discharge module 20 that can perform a preferable discharge operation with each discharge port 2 while improving strength of an orifice plate 11.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge module 20 includes: a functional layer 3 on which multiple energy generating elements 4 are arrayed; a flow passage formation layer 10 laminated while being formed with a pressure chamber 5, individual flow passages 6a and a common flow passage 7a; and an orifice plate 11 formed with a discharge port 2. The flow passage formation layer 10 is formed with a beam 16 extending toward the individual flow passages 6a from a flow passage wall 13 of the common flow passage 7a and supporting a region 15 opposite to a first opening 8 of the orifice plate 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
