Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid droplet discharge device that does not become a burden on movement of a carriage during printing operation and enables a printing head to be surely connected to a ground potential in a discharge detection position of liquid droplets.SOLUTION: The liquid droplet discharge device comprises: a frame 10 connected to a ground potential; a printing head for discharging liquid droplets from nozzles; and a leaf spring 50 that electrically connects the frame 10 to the printing head when a carriage 17 is located at a discharge detection position A where discharge detection of the liquid droplets is performed by a discharge detection portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
