To provide a liquid ejecting apparatus capable of keeping a constant ejection characteristic by preventing crosstalk in ejecting a liquid.
A first activation signal COM1 has ejection activation pulses P1-P3 that ejection ink from nozzles. A second activation signal COM2 has a micro-oscillating activation pulse P4 (non-ejection activation pulse) for inducing pressure fluctuation on ink in a pressure chamber at a level without ejecting the liquid from the nozzle. A minimum electric potential VL2 of the micro-oscillating activation pulse is not greater than a minimum electric potential VL1 of the ejection activation pulse. The ejection activation pulse is supplied to a piezoelectric element corresponding to an ejection nozzle for ejecting ink in a unit cycle T, and the micro-oscillating activation pulse is supplied at least to a piezoelectric element corresponding to a non-ejection nozzle located next to the ejection nozzle.
