Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate need for preparing a separate stopper at the time of delivery from a factory and prevent liquid from being ejected accidentally by providing either of protruding and recessed engaging means which can be engaged with each other only when a cock is closed on a cock body and a member with handle constituting a liquid ejection cock.
CONSTITUTION: A holding cylinder 7 is formed with a liquid inlet hole 11 from an internal face on a lower wall to a lower face of a top plate 6 and equipped with an engaging recessed groove on an internal face. Further a rear end face of the holding cylinder 1 is formed with a split groove 13 and a recess 14. A member 16 with handle has an elastic board 21 protruding from a tip front of a handle 18, while a lock plate 22 is attached to the tip of the elastic board 21. A through hole connected with the liquid inlet hole 11 is provided on an upper wall of a nozzle 17. Thus since the lock plate 22 which fits into the split groove 13 by elasticity of the elastic board 21 when the member 16 with handle is rotated to a closed cock position is attached to the handle 18 via the elastic board 21, the handle 18 can be locked at the closed cock position without preparing a separate stopper, thereby preventing the cock from being opened accidentally.
