Abstract:

To obtain a liquid enteral nutrition composition having a preventing and treating effect on life ctyle-related diseases, such as ameliorating activities on serum lipid, antiobestic effect, etc., even by tube feeding nutrition for a long period of time, and to provide a method for stabilizing an emulsion of soybean protein.

This liquid enteral nutrition composition comprises ≥40 wt.% based on total protein of soybean protein. Especially the liquid enteral nutrition composition contains a necessary and sufficient amount of essential trace elements such as zinc, copper, manganese, selenium, chromium, molybdenum, etc., soybean oligosaccharide, etc., being useful components in soybean by using a soybean milk as a soybean protein source. This method for stabilizing an emulsion of soybean protein comprises adding ≥5 mass pts. of a phosphate or a citrate to 100 mass pts. of soybean protein.
