Abstract:

To extremely precisely and stably feed liquid, in a liquid feeder for liquid chromatography.

In a device alternately and continuously feeding liquid to a receiver side by two plunger pumps, a load sensor is connectedly arranged in the plunger of each pump. The frictional force between the plunger and a plunger seal is transmitted to a control part by a signal transmission line. The drive part of the plunger is controlled via the control part so as to control the operation of the plunger. Pre-pressurization and discharge between the two pumps are controlled by the control part.
