PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid filling device which can perform opening degree adjustment of a filling valve automatically, and which can be used in filling work in a dangerous atmosphere.SOLUTION: A liquid filling device 1 includes: a filling valve 22; a drive rod 25 for driving the filling valve; a cylinder 32 for controlling a large flow rate having an advancing/retreating rod 32a; and a flow rate adjustment part 5 for adjusting the advancing/retreating stroke of the advancing/retreating rod 32a. The flow rate adjustment part 5 includes: a contact member 52 capable of abutting on the advancing/retreating rod 32a; a drive shaft 53 for moving the contact member 52; a normal/reverse rotation means 72 for rotating a rotational axis 71 by a fluid R for drive; a normal direction rotation transmission means 73a for transmitting only the torque in the normal direction to the drive shaft 53 from the torque of the rotational axis 71; a reverse direction rotation transmission means 74a for transmitting only the torque in the reverse direction to the drive shaft 53 from the torque of the rotational axis 71; and switching means 75 switchable by the fluid R for drive and transmitting the rotation of the rotational axis 71 to the normal direction rotation transmission means 73a or to the reverse direction rotation transmission means 74a selectively.
