PURPOSE: To insert surely the filling pipe of a device for filling a predetermined amount of liquid into a container into a supply pipe of the container, and detect liquid leakage.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of guide rollers 9 biased toward each other by the force of a spring holds therebetween the lower end of a filling pipe 7 from a liquid weigher. A support 19 having a container 18 placed thereon and mounted in a support receiver 20 is raised from the support receiver 20 in a manner wherein a lifter 28 moves upwards to open clamp levers 27 after the passage through the bottom hole of the support 19 and the lifter 28 further moves upwards clamping the support 19. By this lifting, the supply pipe 17 of the container 18 passes through a tapered hole of a guide 16 and forces apart the guide rollers 8 for entry therebetween and the filling pipe 7 is inserted into the supply pipe 17 for connection therebetween. In this condition, a predetermined amount of liquid is sent from the liquid weigher through the filling pipe and then through the supply pipe 17 into the container 18. In case the liquid should leak out and stay on a bottom plate 19a of the support 19, due to its electric conductivity, a closed electric circuit is made via an electrode 22 to detect the liquid leakage.
