To provide a liquid film type plate heat exchanger, improved in the supplying method of liquid film side fluid and small in size while capable of being manufactured inexpensively.
In a liquid film type plate heat exchanger, provided with a plurality of plates for effecting heat exchange between a first fluid and a second fluid by utilizing an inside sealed space as the passage for the first fluid and conducting the second fluid to flow along the outer surface of the same while being arranged with a predetermined gap, the fluid supplying passages 9, 9' of the second fluid, conducted to flow down along the outer surfaces of the plates 2, 2', are formed integrally with a part of the plate. The fluid supplying passage is provided with a supplying branch passage 16 along the widthwise direction of the plate and a supplying hole can be provided on the supplying branch passage. The plates 2, 2' are arrayed so that the left side and the right side of them are opposed alternately whereby heat exchange between two kinds of fluids be effected simultaneously by passing different fluids respectively. Further, a liquid distributor and/or a liquid mixing preventing device can be provided between the plates 2, 2'.
