PURPOSE: To maintain the visual room heating effect and improve the safety of the title device such as a fire place, etc. by supplying to a carburetor a flame color agent that is formed by mixing a sodium salt of a fatty acid with a specified number of carbon atoms and alcohol with a specified number of carbon atoms and burning the flame color agent near the firewoods made of ceramic.

CONSTITUTION: A flame color agent 13 in which the sodium salt of a fatty acid with the number of carbon at 5 - 20, for instance, n-hexanol is dissolved is stored in a small tank 14, and the flame color agent is sent from there to a carburetor 9 by a flame color agent supply pump 15. With this arrangement the color agent mixes with kerosene and air in the carburetor 9 to become vaporized gas and it burns in a burner 16 and develops in the vicinity of firewoods 3 made of ceramic. With this constitution a visual room heating effect can be provided and safety is raised.
