Title:
LIQUID FUEL COMBUSTION APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5828911
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent a return flow of a vaporized gas from a burner and the adhesion of a tar component to the internal surface of a fuel supply cylinder by a method wherein in an arrangement in which a pressurized liquid fuel is injected against a barrier to thereby vaporize or atomize the fuel, a pressurized air supply means is provided within the fuel supply cylinder.

CONSTITUTION: The titled combustion apparatus is so formed that liquid fuel 5 is injected from a nozzle 3 into a burner 4 in a fine linear form through a fuel supply cylinder 6 and is caused to run against a barrier (not shown) arranged in the burner 4 so that the fuel is vaporized or atomized and the vaporized fuel is ignited by an ignition device. In this case, a small diametered air supply pipe 10 whose one end is in communication with the fuel supply cylinder 6 is provided on the side of a nozzle case 2 to which one end of the cylinder 6 is connected and the other end of the pipe 10 is connected to a combustion blower so that pressurized air is supplied into the cylinder 6. With the above structure, the pressure in the cylinder 6 is always kept higher than that in the burner 4 and accordingly, the return flow of the vaporized gas from the burner and the adhesion of tar component to the internal surface of the cylinder 6 are prevented.
