PURPOSE: To enable easy control of a combustion amount through regulation of the flow of fuel within a capillary tube body by means of a voltage, by a method wherein electrodes for applying a voltage are installed to a part or the whole of the capillary tube body.

CONSTITUTION: A pair of electrode plates 5 and 5, controlling the pumping force of a capillary tube through application of a voltage, are installed to a capillary tube body 4, a pair of the electrodes 5 and 5 are electrically insulated from each other, and are interconnected through a burner 2 and an insulating material 6. When a D.C. high voltage is applied between the electrode plates 5 and 5 by means of a voltage controller 8, electrostatic pumping function by an electric fluid effect is exerted on the interior of fuel in the capillary tube body 4, and the capillary tube pumping force of the capillary tube body 4, and the capillary tube pumping force of the capillary tube body 4 is increased. The capillary tube pumping force is proportional in a specified range to the intensity of a voltage applied between the electrode plates 5 and 5. Through regulation of the voltage applied between the electrode plates 5 and 5, a vaporizing amount of fuel is changed according to only a change in the applied voltage, and a combustion amount can be easily controlled.
