To provide a liquid honing device for a cylindrical workpiece, which can reduce an occurrence frequency of inconvenience in which the cylindrical workpiece cannot be detached from a boss portion due to engagement of abrasive grains of a honing liquid in a gap between the workpiece and the boss portion.
A workpiece support member 2 of the liquid honing device 1 has: a mount portion 3 having a bearing surface 4 arranged on an upper surface thereof, for bearing a lower end face 31 of the workpiece 30; and the boss portion 5 protruding upward from the bearing surface 4. Then the liquid honing device has formed therein honing liquid discharge grooves 7 in a manner of extending from a peripheral surface of the boss portion 5 via the bearing surface 4 to a peripheral surface of the mount portion 3, for discharging the honing liquid 23 having infiltrated inside the workpiece 30, to the outside of the workpiece 30. Further the liquid honing device has shielding members 11 arranged in front of discharge ports 7a of the discharge grooves 7, for preventing infiltration of the honing liquid 23 ejected toward the discharge ports 7a, opening in the peripheral surface of the mount portion 3, into the discharge ports 7a.
