Title:
LIQUID INJECTION CELL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5816470
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To stabilize the cell performance by employing a separator at the excessive liquid containing section having the liquid suction performance inferior than that of the separator at the generating section thereby making the flow of the electrolyte due to the centrifugal force to be smooth in the generating section.

CONSTITUTION: The hollow disc plates 1 are laminated through the ring separator 2 to provide the generating section 4 while an excessive liquid containing section 5 where an iron plate 20 and the separator 21 are laminated around an insulation board 6 is arranged and an ampul 10 encapsulating the electrolyte 11 is provided to form a liquid-injection cell. When using, the ampul 10 is broken to inject the electrolyte 11 to the generating section 4 through the centrifugal force of the rotary motion thus to produce the power. Here an insulation paper is employed for the separator 21 at the excessive liquid containing section 5 while a draft paper is employed as the separator 2 at the generating section 4 to reduce the liquid suction performance of the former. Consequently the ballance of the liquid injected into the generating section 4 can be made uniform resulting in the stabilization of the performance.
