Abstract:
A method for driving a liquid injection apparatus comprising a base plate on which a pressure chamber communicating with a nozzle, a piezoelectric body arranged corresponding to the pressure chamber , and a volume variable plate arranged between the pressure chamber and the piezoelectric body and changing a volume of the pressure chamber by applying a voltage to the piezoelectric body, applying a first voltage in a rest state before the liquid is ejected from the nozzle; applying a second voltage higher than the first voltage in a standby state to contract the pressure chamber before the liquid is ejected from the nozzle; applying a third voltage lower than the second voltage to eject the liquid from the nozzle; and switching the first voltage, the second voltage and the third voltage and applying them to the piezoelectric body according to ejection data indicating whether to eject the liquid.
