To provide a liquid injection device and a liquid injection method capable of correcting a head driving wave form of a liquid injection head to a more suitable head driving wave form even when a heating mechanism stops.
The liquid injection device includes the liquid injection head 30 capable of injecting liquid from nozzle openings 32a, a heating means 60 for heating and drying the liquid adhering to an injection medium, a temperature measuring means 50 for measuring temperature of a measured section corresponding to a reserver 317 of a liquid injection head 30 in a nozzle plate 32 which exists in the liquid injection head 30 and is provided with a plurality of nozzle columns 32b composed of the nozzle openings 32a arranged in series by a non-contact method, and a head control means 70 for correcting the head driving wave form of the liquid injection head 30 and impressing the corrected head driving wave form to the liquid injection head 30 based on the result of measuring the temperature at the measured section by the temperature measuring means 50.
