The liquid injection device includes: an injection part which is provided with a plurality of nozzles arranged in a line and injects liquid from the nozzles; a conveyance part which conveys the medium in a conveying direction crossing a direction where the plurality of nozzles are lined up; and a control part which is one controlling the injection part and the conveyance part, when the image forming processing for forming the image on the medium is executed by the plurality of times and switches and performs first processing for allowing the conveyance part to convey the medium in such a state that the longitudinal direction of the medium is in the conveying direction and the injection part to inject the liquid, so that the attitude of the image with respect to the conveying direction is first attitude and second processing for allowing the conveyance part to convey the medium in such a state that the longitudinal direction of the medium crosses the conveying direction and the injection part to inject the liquid, so that the attitude of the image with respect to the conveying direction is second attitude obtained by rotating the first attitude by 90 degrees, during the image forming processing.
